YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police are alerting motorists about a traffic detour today in the area of White’s Park and North Dennis Road in South Yarmouth.
Due to the new bike path project, a section of roadway located at the east end of White’s Path at the intersection of North Dennis Road, Great Western Road and North Main Street is being diverted to allow work to be done.
Traffic in the area will all be diverted on to White’s Path.
Vehicles going over the Nicholas G. Xiarhos Veterans Memorial Overpass on Great Western Road heading south must turn right on to White’s Path.
Traffic heading north on to the overpass will not be allowed.
