Yarmouth Police arrest man for alleged crack cocaine distribution

YARMOUTHFrom Yarmouth Police: On Monday, October 14, 2019, at 11 PM, Yarmouth Police Department Proactive Anti-Crime Unit Officer Matt Mangano stopped a gray 2012 Ford Expedition on Route 28 in West Yarmouth for a motor vehicle violation.

The driver of the vehicle 48-year-old Sean D. Goddard of Hyannis, who is well known to Law Enforcement—was found to have a suspended driver’s license and placed under arrest.

Yarmouth Police Detective Scott Lundegren and fellow Yarmouth Police Officers arrived.

Two knotted sandwich baggies and one untied corner cut bag, all containing cocaine were located inside the vehicle.

One of the knotted sandwich bags contained numerous amounts of smaller knotted bags filled with crack cocaine.

Goddard was charged with operating after license suspended and possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (crack cocaine)(subsequent offense). He was transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in the Barnstable District Court.
