Yarmouth Police awarded grant money to help fight drug addiction

YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department has been awarded $5,000 from the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators grant program.

NADDI is the leading drug diversion training organization in the nation, with the largest networking platform for professionals involved in the field of pharmaceutical drug diversion.

The NADDI networking platform provides the opportunity to bring diverse viewpoints, education, support, and resources to the individuals facing the challenges in the fight against the misuse and abuse of pharmaceutical drugs.

NADDI’s objective is to improve its members’ ability to investigate, prosecute, and prevent pharmaceutical drug diversion.

Detective Division Sergeant Kal Boghdan wrote the grant and this is the 8th year in a row that we have received the award.
