Yarmouth Police charge two career criminals for armed home invasion

YARMOUTHFrom Yarmouth Police: On Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 11:50 AM, Yarmouth Police Officers and Detectives responded to a violent Home Invasion on Constance Avenue in West Yarmouth. The suspects had committed the crime and fled before police arrival.

A four month investigation led by Yarmouth Police Department Detective Eric Nuss, which included obtaining five Search Warrants, identified the suspects and both George Sullivan and Wesley Rose were charged this week.

Sullivan, 37, and Rose, 38, were both charged with home invasion, malicious destruction of property, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, robbery while armed and masked, and conspiracy.

Both are career criminals well known to Cape Cod Law Enforcement.

Sullivan was already in prison and Rose was tracked down arrested by Yarmouth Police Anti-Crime Unit Officers during a motor vehicle stop on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 4:30PM.

Both men are currently incarcerated.

The Yarmouth Police Department Command Staff commends the work of all Police Officers and Detectives involved especially Detective Eric H. Nuss for his diligent lead role in this case.
