Yarmouth Police help in “Building the Bridge”

YARMOUTH
From Yarmouth Police: On Friday, June 14, 2019 at 5 PM, Yarmouth Police Department Patrol Officers Christopher Eccleston and Connor Burnham volunteered to attend a very special Art Show at the Yarmouth Cultural Center of Cape Cod featuring beautiful pieces of work created by the children at the Robert F. Kennedy Adolescent Treatment Center

The Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps Cape Cod Adolescent Treatment Center in South Yarmouth provides services in a group home setting for children and youth who are face challenges often times due to living in unstable, dangerous, or abusive environments while helping them return home to their families and communities when appropriate.

The Patrol Officers interacted with the children and staff and everyone enjoyed a very special night together building a stronger relationship between these children in need and our Police Officers who protect and serve them.

Well Done Everyone!

“Justice, dignity, equality – these are words which are often used loosely, with little appreciation of their meaning. I think that their meaning can be distilled into one goal: that every child in this country live as we would want our own children to live.”
Robert F. Kennedy
