Yarmouth Police Holding Unique Fundraiser for Children’s Cove

YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department is allowing officers to show support in a unique way this month for The Children’s Cove – The Cape & Island’s Child Advocacy Center.

Any Police Officer who commits a minimum of $100 dollars, will be able to grow facial hair that is usually prohibited by department rules and regulations, from now until February 24th.

The YPD will also be having a friendly in-house, best and worst beard contest.

How can you help?

  1. You can make a donation to the Yarmouth Police Relief Association (YPRA) with a note “Beards For A Benefit” and send it to the Yarmouth Police Department.
  2. You can also go to the YPRA website and use the PayPal link (add special instructions to tell us it’s a Beards For A Benefit donation).
  3. Every penny of your donation will go directly Children’s Cove at the conclusion of this fun fundraising endeavor.
