Yarmouth Police investigating felony tagging of new Cape Cod Rail Trail bridge

YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that at least two acts of vandalism occurred at the pedestrian/bicycle bridge on Station Avenue which is part of the Cape Cod Rail Trail.

The word “ELVIS” was spray painted on the upper portions of the west bridge abutment in black paint.

Similar images have also been tagged on the new rail trail bridge on Route 134 in Dennis.

Tagging in Massachusetts is a Felony and can result in time in prison and loss of driver’s license.
