On Friday, the Cape and Islands District Attorney identified the victim as David Akin, 77, of Harwich. The matter remains under investigation by Yarmouth Police and State Police detectives assigned to the DA’s office however there is nothing at this time to suggest the cause of death was anything other than accidental.
