Yarmouth Police seek video footage from Constance Avenue neighborhood

YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: The Yarmouth Police Department is seeking any video footage that neighbors may have that relate to the Home Invasion that occurred yesterday morning at approximately 11:35AM at 2 Constance Avenue in West Yarmouth.

The general area involved is bordered by West Yarmouth Road, Old Town House Road, Forest Road, and Sheffield Road and pictured in this map of the area.

If your home or business has a Ring Video Doorbell System or any other surveillance video system and you live in the immediate area of 2 Constance Avenue, please contact Yarmouth Police Department Detective Eric H. Nuss at 508.775.0445 extension 2132.

Background:

On Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at approximately 11:48AM, the Yarmouth Police Department Emergency 911 Center received a 911 call reporting an armed home invasion that had just occurred at a home at 2 Constance Avenue in West Yarmouth.

The victim reported two suspects kicked in a side door while armed.

Once inside the suspects stole items and then fled.

Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers and Detectives immediately responded to the home and conducted saturation patrols including the use of a Yarmouth Police K9 Team.

Despite all efforts, the suspects have not been located.

Fortunately, no one was physically injured.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
