Yarmouth Police seeking citizen volunteers

YARMOUTH
– From Yarmouth Police: Our long running Volunteer in Police Service Program is seeking additional dedicated members of our community to volunteer four hours per week at Yarmouth Police Headquarters and help our department while serving as Headquarter Greeters.

We have openings on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday from 12 noon to 4pm and 4pm to 8pm

Volunteers will be given orientation training, a special VIP shirt, and serve as greeters and information providers to members of the public as they enter Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters. There are no police powers and no weapons involved.

This is a very special way to assist the Yarmouth Police Department and serve your community.

Please let us know if you are interested in joining our team of devoted Volunteers in Police Services by contacting Yarmouth Police Department Deputy Chief of Police Steven G. Xiarhos at [email protected] or Emergency 911 Dispatcher Maria Curtis at [email protected]
