Yarmouth Police take part in National Crime Prevention and Community Policing Month

YARMOUTH –

As part of National Crime Prevention and Community Policing month, Chief Frank Frederickson and the YPD took a bus filled with wonderful seniors from Thirwood Place in South Yarmouth out for free ice cream sundaes at Dairy Queen in South Yarmouth today.

The Yarmouth Police Department is the proud recipient of the 2012 and 2016 New England Association of Chiefs of Police Community Policing Award and we celebrated this honor with a special ice cold sundae with a senior at no cost thanks to the generosity of owner Dan Christopoulos and everyone at Dairy Queen of South Yarmouth.
