Yarmouth Police take ‘Wanted Wednesday’ suspect into custody

YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police have arrested one of the subjects of their ‘Wanted Wednesday’ alert.

Rashad A. Copper, 34, was taken into custody last Friday at 62 Baxter Lane in Hyannis.

Copper was booked at Barnstable Police Department and Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and transported directly to the Barnstable District Court.

Copper, a convicted felon, has been the subject of the ‘Wanted Wednesday’ program for failing to show up in court after being arrested and bailed on felony drug distribution charges on October 12, 2017.

Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Cocaine

Conspiracy to Violate the Massachusetts Drug Laws

Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Cocaine, subsequent offense

Felony Drug Violation in a School Zone

Felony Distribution Class B Cocaine
