Joseph Luke Rhodes
YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Tuesday, Proactive Anti-Crime Unit (PACU) Officers Nick Ambrosini and Sean Geary were informed by Yarmouth Police Department Sex Crimes Detective Michael Zontini of an active felony arrest warrant out of Virginia Beach, Virginia for Joseph L. Rhodes, 31, of West Yarmouth.
At approximately 1:30 PM, Anti-Crime Unit Officers Ambrosini and Geary located Rhodes at his residence at 564 West Yarmouth Road and placed him under arrest on a fugitive from justice warrant for sodomy of a child.
Rhodes was transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters for booking and transported to the Barnstable District Court for arraignment as a Fugitive from Justice.
Virginia Beach Police Department Detectives were advised of the arrest and rendition procedures will follow.
Rhodes is currently incarcerated awaiting transfer to Virginia Beach authorities.
