YPD arrests man for possession of suboxone and outstanding warrant

YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Monday at approximately 12:20 PM, Proactive Anti- Crime Unit (PACU) Officer Nick Ambrosini stopped a vehicle with 4 occupants for a motor vehicle violation.

A check of the occupants who were not properly seat belted found one of them in constructive possession of 4 small round orange pills scored 54/375 and known to be Suboxone.

A computer inquiry showed the man had a warrant out of East Brookfield District Court. As a result, 37-year-old Jamison Davis was charged with Possession of a Class B substance (suboxone), assault and battery, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and warrant arrest. The vehicle operator was given a verbal warning for having a failed inspection sticker.

Davis was processed at Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and transported to the Barnstable District Court for arraignment.
