YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that on Wednesday at approximately 5:00 p.m. Proactive Anti-Crime Unit (PACU) officers Nick Ambrosini and Sean Geary conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of the Town and Country Motel in West Yarmouth.
The Officers determined that the two women inside had numerous warrants for their arrest.
Inside the vehicle, officers located a quantity of heroin, crack and cocaine inside a perfume box in the center console.
Upon further examination of the perfume box containing the heroin, crack and cocaine officers found that it contained two clear knotted plastic baggies. The first bag contained six smaller knotted plastic baggies of brown powder with a gross weight of approximately 2.61 grams of heroin. The other baggie contained eight smaller knotted plastic baggies with a white powder and a gross weight of approximately 4 grams of cocaine. Also in the baggie were three more clear knotted plastic baggies containing a yellow rock like substance with a gross weight of 1.30 grams of cocaine.
Upon further examination of the Newport cigarette box, officers discovered it contained two small clear knotted plastic baggies with white powder inside. It had a gross combined weight of approximately 1 gram of cocaine.
All drugs were tagged and placed into evidence.
Jasmin Rivera, 22, of Randolph, MA (left), was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (2 counts), possession with intent to distribute a Class C substance, operating without a license, failing to identify self to police officer, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and warrant arrest (5 counts). Jennelle Madden, 24, of Brockton, MA (right), was charged with warrant arrest (2 counts).
Both subjects were transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and subsequently arraigned in the Barnstable District Court.
