YARMOUTH
– The Yarmouth Police Department announces that it will again participate in the annual Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) “Tie One On For Safety” Red Ribbon Campaign.

Tie One On For Safety is MADD’s longest-running public awareness campaign which asks adults to tie a red ribbon on their vehicles to remind others to plan ahead and designate a non-drinking driver.

The holiday season can be a dangerous time of year, so tying a red ribbon on your vehicle is a reminder to you and others to plan ahead before attending holiday celebrations that may involve alcohol.

Throughout this holiday season, Yarmouth Police cruisers will have an official MADD Massachusetts Red Ribbon attached.

Official MADD Massachusetts Red Ribbons are available at no cost to anyone in our main lobby at Yarmouth Police Headquarters. The Department invites drivers to stop in anytime and pick up as many as they like.
