'Game Of Thrones' Natalie Dormer Doesn't Know If Jon Snow Is Alive

British actress Natalie Dormer has played Margaery Tyrell in HBO’s hit “Game of Thrones,” since Season 2, but don’t ask her if Jon Snow is really dead because Natalie swears she doesn’t know!

“I don’t read the scripts or storylines of other people… That’s a choice I made a few years ago so that I can watch the show when it comes out, like a fan,” she told CapeCod.com.

When last we left Westeros, Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, was lying bleeding on the ground after being stabbed by his own men. But a poster for the sixth season featuring actor Kit Harrington, who plays Jon Snow, and reports that he’s been seen on the “GOT” set, has fans hoping we haven’t seen the last of Ned Stark’s bastard son.

“He got stabbed a lot, and that’s what happens when you get stabbed that many times. You die,” Dormer said. “I’m as curious as much as anyone else to see how they’re going to play that.”

Dormer, who has also had juicy roles in Showtime’s “The Tudors,” ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay,’ and the CBS series “Elementary,” is currently promoting her new flick “The Forest.”

In theaters now, Jason Zada’s psychological thriller follows twin sisters Sara and Jess Price (both played by Dormer), after Jess has gone missing in Japan’s infamous Aokigahara Suicide Forest. Meticulous and successful Sara she puts her life on hold to rescue her missing sister.

“There’s an emotional, cathartic message in the movie,” Dormer said. “It’s about not repressing your emotions. We all have demons that we need to face, and if you don’t, they might be thrown in your face when you least expect it. It’s a sophisticated, intelligent thing for a horror movie to do.”
While she may look fancy as Joffrey and Tommen Baratheon’s “GOT” queen, on “The Forest” set, Dormer performed many of her own stunts, including the chilling sinkhole scene featured in the trailer. Natalie said the role was a great one and she wishes there were more like it for female actors.

“We’re fifty percent of the population,” Dormer said. “It would be lovely if the drama we watched on our TV screens and in our movie theaters reflected that fact, and that we could have as many three dimensional, complex female roles as there have been male roles historically.”
