CENTERVILLE – The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod unveiled the official artwork for the 30th Annual Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea concert at a reception on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Cape Cod Museum of Art.
Mr. Loud was commissioned to create this year’s commemorative painting and limited edition lithograph, to be auctioned at a reception at the Hyannisport Club to benefit the Arts Foundation. Limited edition prints of the commissioned work will be available during the Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea concert, Sunday, August 9, 2015 on the Hyannis Village Green featuring the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, with conductor Keith Lockhart who is also celebrating his 20th Anniversary of conducting ‘America’s Orchestra’.
Bids on the painting are being accepted in advance of the June 19th Benefit Auction and can be made at www.artsfoundation.org.
Mr. Loud is known for his dramatic maritime paintings and his work has earned him awards in the 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1994 Mystic International Exhibitions. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Marine Artists and has painted exclusively for Marine Arts Gallery of Salem, Massachusetts from 1995 to 2010. Currently, Mr. Loud’s work is sold at some of the most prestigious galleries New England. He is represented by Tree’s Place Gallery in Orleans on Cape Cod.
Limited edition signed prints of his commissioned work will be available during the Pops by the Sea concert, Sunday, August 9, 2015, on the Hyannis Village Green. The annual concert features the only Cape Cod appearance of the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra.
