Below, you will find a list of the top five events for the end of this week and the weekend as hand selected by our team. 1. Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair

It’s beginning to feel a lot like the holiday season on the Outer Cape, where the Wellfleet Preservation Hall is gearing up their Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair. Over 35 vendors, their famous cafe with delicious food and a great way to shop locally. Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm at 335 Main St. Wellfleet.

2. “The Magic Flute”

Head to the Cape Cinema in Dennis for a showing of “The Magic Flute.” Recorded in 2006, this was the groundbreaking broadcast that launched the Met’s heralded Live in HD series, seen by opera lovers in movie theaters around the world. Saturday at 1 pm.

The West Dennis Village Stroll will take place Saturday, with most events running from 12 to 3 pm. Breakfast with Santa at Good Friends Cafe takes place at 11:30 am. A tree lighting and holiday singing will close the event at 4 pm at Grand Cove Place. Retailers along Route 28 in West Dennis will take part in the stroll. A trolley will be available to take people a long the route.

4. Christmas in Edgartown

It’s Christmas in Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard through Sunday. An island tradition for 30 years, the event celebrates the holidays and allows visitors to experience the charm of Edgartown in the winter. Activities include lighting of the lighthouse, the Christmas parade and a chowder contest.

5. Other Strolls

Other strolls around the region: Chatham Christmas Stroll through Saturday with various holiday activities; Osterville Christmas Open House and Stroll, Friday night, Dec. 11; South Yarmouth Library 9th Annual Holiday Cookie Stroll, Saturday, Dec. 12, 10am to 3pm.
