7 Things You Didn’t Know About David Bowie

Some sad news to wake up to today, the loss of musical icon David Bowie. He succumbed to an 18-month battle with liver cancer on Sunday, January 10th, just two days after his 69th birthday, also two days after the release of his latest album, ‘Blackstar’. Many people are reflecting today on the kind of person David Bowie was, or what kind of influence his music had on their life. Here are 7 interesting things about David Bowie that you may not have known:

1- He got into a fight over a girl when he was fifteen…it resulted in him being punched in the face, and his left eye seemed like a different color because of it.

2- His role model was Little Richard.
