An Adults guide “How to use Snapchat” from a Cape Cod Teenager

Greetings!

We are in an age of social media, and the quick, easy use of all the apps that go with it. I am a huge fan of Facebook, Insta and Twitter.

I was fooling around with Snapchat, and I didnt know what I was doing. Thats when Danielle’s daughter saw me, laughed, and said I’ll help you.

And now, a tuitorial on how to use Snapchat from the Nauset Regional High Junior, the Cape Cod Teenager.

“Can adults use social media? Yeah, maybe Facebook and that’s it. I saw Ralphie trying to use Snapchat and it’s filters. He needed help.

Here goes: How to start with Snapchat.

You have to download it from the app store and you create a account username. After you created your account you add people you know on it. Snapchat is an app you take a picture of your or something else for about 1-10 seconds.

If you hold on your face you can get filters which add like a dog ears and mouth or a flower crown and so much more.

I watched Ralphie try and use a filter he did not even know what a filter was.

I tried to teach Ralphie how to use it and it was bad. He couldn’t understand how to use it or he couldn’t pick up what to do, it was funny, and kind of sad.

If you just take a selfie you can swipe over and get filters like Cape Cod or black and white or something that says what town you are in or where you are at.

You can add stickers to your photo or emojis. If you ever had to watch an adult try its funny.

You can add writing to you photo or draw on it. You can basically do anything on your photo with Snapchat. It’s not just photos, you can use videos.

With the new Snapchat update you can have a group of friends and what you snap everyone can see.

You can also message people if you slide over on them name.

The real question, should adults be allowed on social media? Or just Ralphie?”

I am still confused.

GO PATRIOTS!!!
