Hello everyone!
I wanted to check-in and say hello. I am in Fort Myers, FL visiting my kids and their mom.
I want to first say that for the sake of the children, and everyone’s well being, whenever possible, get along and co-parent. We fail at times, we succeed more! Off my soapbox now…
It’s no secret my love for the beach and the warm sun. This heat and humidity does not bother me at all. Early morning 2 mile walks on the beach. Well, pretty much beach all the time!!
The kids have insisted on going to camp, I’m not gonna fight them.
As many of you know, this area is New England south. Everyone is either from there visiting or live here now! C’s, B’s, Pats and Sox all over. In fact, we ate a place called Cape Cod Fish Co. the guy is from Rhode Island, but gets a pass the scallops were good!
Nearby is Sanibel Island, the shelling mecca of the world. Well not really, it seemed that way. All people do is comb the beach looking for the little shells I swear out loud when I walk on them. Tons of shells, I mean tons!!! Everyone netting them on their happy little walk. I tried it. Then I sat back in my chair. My kids mom loves this stuff so she was on her merry way. Sanibel is a beautiful place, well it all is awesome! Next stop on the trip, New Orleans to see my daughter!
