I Love Being Local

I can’t tell you how great it is to be a part of a radio group that is LOCAL…like we are here at Cape Cod Broadcasting Media. When anything is happening on Cape that is going to affect any one of our communities we are ON IT! Whether it’s the Capecod.com News center or the radio personalities on each our radio stations. Our biggest objective is let you know what is happening in YOUR town.

Just last week when we had several inches of snow and the power was out in many towns…I, being on in the morning on “99.9 The Q” made sure I had all the information our listeners needed in terms of power outages, cell phone outages, where folks could go for shelter to keep warm and of course what the projected weather would be. On our “Q Facebook page” I made sure people could post what was happening in their town so we would know first hand what was going in and how they were feeling. I also think our listeners appreciated having a voice…knowing we were listening as well as the people that were reading all their posts.

Local radio is where it’s at…for the people listening and the personalities on the radio. So many companies today have radio talent recording shows from other parts of the country and they’re not in touch with the communities they’re serving but CCB Media and all four of it’s radio stations broadcasting throughout Cape Cod are here for YOU.
