I love it when I go into a store on and off cape and hear one of our Cape Cod Broadcasting Media Radio Stations playing. We have 99.9 The Q, Cape Country 104, Ocean 104.7 and Cape Classical 107.5.
It puts a smile on my face and makes me feel proud that I work at a company that cares so much about the people that listen. Our owners live right here on Cape. They care about providing good music and entertainment with their personalities along with the latest local news. We want Cape residents to be informed 24/7!
We have 99.9 The Q where I co-host the morning show. We play contemporary music and talk about what’s “real” and happening with our audience. Every year we have our “Christmas Wishes” campaign in December where we help local families that may be struggling and try to make the holiday season a little easier and happier for these wonderful people.
Our owners also care very much about local news. All of our radio stations have top of the hour newscasts. The “Capecod.com News Center” is here almost around the clock. If local news is breaking you will hear it first on all of our CCB Media radio stations.
We have the most popular formats covered. 99.9 The Q is contemporary, Cape Country 104 is Country, Ocean 104.7 is Adult Contemporary and Cape Classical is obviously Classical.
In addition to co-hosting the morning show on “The Q” I also do the afternoon show on Ocean 104.7 from 3 to 7pm, Monday thru Friday.
I have worked for years in a major market like Boston but I didn’t see an owner very often. I have to say I love the personal one-on-one relationship we have with our owners here at CCB Media. If there is something I need or an opinion I have on something I can go to them…they are accessible.
