I think there might be something wrong with me. Lately I have been obsessed with cleaning. I know it’s spring…but what does “spring cleaning” really entail. Is it just dusting, vacuuming and moving furniture around and vacuuming underneath? For me, it has turned into cleaning every room, every drawer and every single cabinet. I can’t stop. When I finish one thing…I think of the next thing that needs cleaning and organizing. I did the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining room, basement and my deck.
I even painted the deck myself!!! While I was doing so…I discovered something…as I peered through the floor of the deck I could see something resting on a wooden board underneath. It was a bird’s nest…but not just ONE bird’s nest…3 bird’s nests!!! I LOVE it. I even took pictures. Of course, I didn’t disturb the nests…but I will be waiting and watching to see the little hatchlings. Nature is so fascinating to me. It’s also amazing to me what the nests are made out of… like twigs, leaves, branches, mud, woven grass, and bird saliva!
