On Friday night June 17th “999 The Q” is hosting “The Ultimate 80’s Dance Party” at the Cape Codder. I am really looking forward to it! I was thinking about all the things I did in the 80’s…going to nightclubs with friends…I could lose 5 pounds every weekend with all the dancing I did. I was working at Kiss-108 radio in Boston and just beginning my career in radio. On TV in the 80’s one of my favorite shows was “Dynasty.”
In the 80’s I loved going to the Mill Hill Club…we would wait outside for hours just to get into Happy Hour to see Gordie Milne. What great memories. We had a ball.
Now getting back to our 80’s dance party. I need to come up with something fun to wear. I was thinking of maybe a Madonna kind of get up…you know with some leather and a bustier OR should I do a Cyndi Lauper kind of outfit you know a short black puffy dress with tooling and green, yellow and orange hair. Hmmm I’ve got to think about this!
One thing I do know…my hair will be high…very 1980’s high!
