So many people I know always say they wish “summer” would last all year round. I say…I like summer but I wish “fall” weather would last forever.
My favorite memories of fall are when I was a little girl with my mother seeing me off to school! As I got older and was in High School my fond memories of fall was being a Cheerleader and getting ready for the new season! I loved knowing High School football season was on the horizon. It was a magical time!
Then of course moving forward after High School…I looked forward to going back to Endicott College and starting a new school year at an institution that I loved.
As of now…I still have some of the same feelings about fall…first of all I love the weather. The crisp air to me is the best! I love wearing a jacket and boots. I love that we can give our air conditioners a rest and also not have the oil bills to contend with yet!
Then, there is the start of the pro football season in the fall! If someone asked me “Karen what is your idea of the perfect day” I would say “a Sunday in the fall…with a Patriot’s game on and a delicious dinner in the oven.”
