Milk-Bone’s Annual List Of “Dogs Who Changed The World”

Every year, the company Milk-Bone holds a nationwide search for dogs that have gone above and beyond to impact the lives of the humans they love.  They had a lot of extraordinary pups to choose from, but managed to narrow the list down to ten “Dogs Who Changed The World”, and here they are:

10- Emmy, a golden doodle from Hershey, PA, can predict seizures and lets her family know when her partner is injured.

9- Smith, a golden retriever from Lakewood, CA, also helps his partner when she has a seizure.

8- Chopstick, a golden retriever/lab from Pottsville, PA, helps to calm her partner down, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

7- Rolex, a golden retriever from Duluth, GA, has helped his partner significantly reduce the frequency of her seizures.

6- Liberty, a golden retriever/lab from Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, is a service/therapy dog and regularly visits hospitals and schools, raising awareness about the Canine Assistants program.

5- Tillie, an Irish setter/spaniel from Vashon Island, WA, helped out her best dog buddy who was trapped in a cistern.  Tillie watched over her for a week and only left her side to go look for help.

4- Bretagne, a golden retriever from Cypress, TX, is the last known living search and rescue dog that responded to the World Trade Center after 9/11.

3- Wrangler, a bassett hound from Albion, PA, is a life saver!  He saved his family when their house caught on fire!

2- Klinker, a golden retriever from Williamsport, MD is saving the U.S. honeybee population by inspecting bees for deadly bacteria.

1- Abby, is a border collie/australian shepherd from Hartland, WI, is another life saver!  She saved her family from carbon monoxide poisoning!

A big round of applause for all of these amazing pups!  I hope their families rewarded them greatly with lots of love, hugs and tasty treats!!
