My Favorite Thrift Stores on Cape Cod

I absolutely love thrift stores. It’s one of the few places where the merchandise constantly changes. There’s always the chance that you will discover something unique, or find a fantastic deal just because it’s a pre-loved item. You get a good feeling saving something from the landfill and a lot of the thrift stores on Cape Cod benefit nonprofits.

This is huge for me, but I’m going to share with you a few of my favorites. I almost wanted to save these gems just for myself! If you haven’t gone to thrift stores before here are a few of my favorites.

St Christopher’s Gift and Consignment Shop – 637c Main St. Chatham

This shop has a great range of high-end clothing, jewelry, and home goods. Check the website because it is seasonal.

Cape Cancer Thrift Store – 1085 Main St West Barnstable

No website

This small shop is stock full of great home furnishings. When we moved to our house, it was my go-to place for lamps. They also have a great selection of jewelry.

Noah’s Ark Thrift Shop at Christ Church – 671 Route 28, Harwich Port

This thrift store has great finds in women’s clothing, plus items for your home, as well as children’s books. Bonus – during the summer, the church does a Lobster Roll Luncheon on Fridays.

Habitat for Humanity Restore – 28 Whites Path, South Yarmouth

https://www.habitat.org/restores

We are currently remodeling our historic home and we are regulars at the Restore. Aside from furniture, the Restore stocks things like windows, doors, bathtubs, and entire kitchen cabinet sets. It’s amazing! Our bathroom sink and medicine cabinet both came from the Restore. I’ve also found great antique furniture items. Make sure you like their Facebook page to find out about sales and fun events.
Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop – 690 Main Street, Hyannis

https://www.capecodhospitalauxiliary.org/thrift-shop/

You never know what you’ll find at this boutique-style thrift store. Seriously, I once bought a Christian Dior blouse and they put it in a Tiffany’s bag! They often have a rack with seasonal items or the higher-end items.

Vintage in Vogue – Provincetown and Orleans

https://www.vintageinvogue.com/

Not technically a thrift store, this vintage consignment shop features carefully picked items from a bygone era. I love the thrill of the hunt when it comes to thrifty, but many people hate digging through racks. If that’s you, then try Vintage in Vogue. They have a fantastic online presence with Facebook and Instagram sites that highlight great pieces. Plus, there’s a bridal boutique at the Orleans location with alterations done on-location.

If you have a great thrift spot I haven’t mentioned, let me know. I love exploring different parts of the Cape and finding new second-hand shopping spots.
