   I worked at Libby’s Chowder House in W. Yarmouth in the early 60’s. Yes, the one with the tennis court in the back of the restaurant.

   The windmill house on Bass River used to belong to

   My grandfather, a cabinet maker, built the wooden, picnic-style tables used at the Clam Bar in the 50’s; my husband did renovations there in the 60’s and at least one of our kids worked there in the 80’s! I recognize many of these old picture….so wish we to go back! I DO regret the fact that the rights to the “jingle” were sold!!

   1960 I pumped gas at the Amoco station across from the road into Camp Wellfleet. 1961 I worked as a plumber’s apprentice for a man living in one of the Cape’s oldest houses. This was on Rt6 just down from Wellfleet. Late 60s we had a boat dealership next to Wilkinson’s laundry. My Uncle started PJs restaurant on Rt6 in Wellfleet. The P and J are named after his daughters, my 1st cousins. I could almost write a book about my adventures on the Cape.

   I know Judy well. We both graduated Nauset Regional, Orleans. 1964. Best years of my life were in Wellfleet. Let me know when your book will be published!!

   My sister worked as a bar maid at The Chart Room in Wellfleet . We are trying to find out just where that was or what is it now!
