A new event was added to the line up at the Barnstable County Fair this year: Power Wheels Demolition Derby. When I first heard about the event I was a little concerned. This is a mini-demolition derby specifically for children!
Since I am a fan (and a past competitor) in the Barnstable County Fair Demolition Derby, I could not resist the chance to see what would happen. I was happy to see many other past demolition drivers in the children’s pit area prepping the new generation of derby drivers.
My friend Paul Anderson was on hand to cheer on his family members and was kind enough to share his video with us.

By the way, there were no “winners” or “losers”. There were a couple dead batteries and some tears. Overall, it was a very fun event and I am looking forward to next year’s event!
