It’s true, all of my life, I’ve enjoyed going to the dentist.
I think it goes back to when I was a little kid. I always had good experiences at the dentist, with little to no cavities and always left on a positive note with a new pink toothbrush. As I got older, my experiences at the dentist remained the same. I have been fortunate in the way that I have never needed major dental work. If I had, I think my opinion of the dentist would not be quite as high.
So I am going to the dentist tomorrow morning. It’s funny because I was thinking to myself the other day, ‘hmm…it’s been about six months since I’ve had my teeth cleaned, I should call and schedule an appointment.’ Later on that day, before I had the chance to call, they called me! I told the receptionist on the phone, ‘funny that you called me today, I was just thinking that I needed to make an appointment!’
She said she had limited availability, and my options were this Thursday or sometime in November. Whoa! November was definitely too far away, that would be a full year! I’m a stickler for going every six months, so clear the calendar, this Thursday it is!
Fingers crossed that my visit goes well tomorrow and I remain a fan of going to the dentist!
