Take in the view from atop Sandy Neck Lighthouse and see all of Cape Cod Bay! This unique kayak excursion is a wonderful opportunity to land on Sandy Neck at the remote cottage colony and learn about one of Cape Cod Bay’s most fascinating places. Stroll through the dunes and take in the view of the Great Marsh before climbing to the top of the lighthouse to learn about its history and enjoy the 360 degree roof-top perspective.

Launching from Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, the trip will also explore the many tidal creeks and islands of the harbor as your naturalists point out shorebirds, ospreys, horseshoe crabs and other creatures of the marsh.

Due to the nature of the harbor’s currents and weather patterns, this trip is recommended for experienced kayakers. This is not a beginner kayak trip.

MA Audubon Member $55, Non-member $60
