YARMOUTH – The 31st annual Blessing of the Animals was held Saturday morning at the West Yarmouth Congregational Church. This years blessing was in honor of fallen Yarmouth Police Department Sergent Sean M. Gannon , K9 Nero and work of police K9 Units. Opening remarks were by Yarmouth Deputy Police Chief Steven Xiarhos. The blessing of the animals Service officiated by Reverend Charles Soule. Each animal was blessed individually.
