Whether it’s storytelling, poetry, rap, scatting or singing, it’s of the oral tradition. Stemming from a long line of Mashpee Wampanoag and Caribbean storytellers and oral historians, ZYG 808 and his father, Mwalim bring that tradition into their artistic work as songwriters, playwrights, authors, and poets. Join us for an evening of Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Folklore with “Bronx Jazz”.

Free to the public. Registration is appreciated! Email sturgisreference@comcast.net, call 508-362-6636, or online at http://www.sturgislibrary.org/event2/words-between-father-and-son-a-celebration-of-poetry-storytelling-jazz-and-hip-hop/
