Sandwich Public Library hosts this debut tour of six award-winning alumni of “From the Top “, the popular NPR public radio show. The program offers a broad range of composers (Brahms, Hindenmith,Janacek, Stravinsky, Beethoven, and Prokofiev), musical styles and eras, and instrumentation. The performances will be interspersed with brief interviews by the moderator with each performer, covering insights about the music and their musical lives. Featured performers, an exceptional group of New England Conservatory students, include: Highland Street, an ensemble composed of Mira Williams, viola; Victoria Pan, violin; Sophie Applbaum, cello; and Greta Myatieva, violin; as well as Patrick Pan, piano, and Aleksis Martin, clarinet. The program will be held at Sandwich Town Hall and repeated at Truro Public Library on 4/14 @ 10:30am and at Eastham Public Library on 4/14 @ 3:00pm.
