Cape Cod Museum of Natural History

The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster, MA presents Coyotes in the Neighborhood with educator and naturalist Peter Trull, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 1pm.

The Coywolf, a mixture of western coyote and eastern wolf, is a remarkable new hybrid carnivore that is taking over territories once roamed by wolves and slipping unnoticed into our cities and becoming the new top predator. In his program, Coyotes in the Neighborhood, Trull, who pioneered coyote research on the Cape as a naturalist for the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, will describe the history of the Coywolf on Cape Cod, talk about humans, pets and coywolves, and answer questions related to their presence here on the Cape and in our neighborhoods.

In conjunction with Mr. Trull’s program, the Museum will be presenting Meet the Coywolf, a PBS Nature Documentary, throughout the day in The Hay Room
