Want to learn new ways to create art on your iPad? Catherine Caddigan will present a lecture and a workshop focusing on the capabilities of the App Procreate at the Cape Cod Art Center in Barnstable the weekend of October 12-14.

On Friday, October 12th from 7pm-8pm Catherine will discuss the various ways to enhance, alter, collage and draw with imagery using the App Procreate. Procreate is a very powerful standalone drawing App with over 200 brushes, and this lecture will cover some of the more basic features. Cost: $25

On Saturday, October 13th from 9:30pm to 3:30pm, Catherine will present a full day workshop: Artistic Possibilities with Procreate: Creating Digitally on a Mobile Device. All attendees are required to bring an iPad and a variety of imagery with them. The workshop will start in a tutorial format with live demonstration of Procreate’s many features. Some of the techniques Catherine will cover are layering, masking, color adjustment, importing imagery, painting, erasing and blending. The class will then work on their own projects, experimenting with Procreate and discussing the results. Cost for CCAC members: $110, non-members $140.

Catherine will also be presenting a seminar on Using iColorama at the 3rd Annual Mastering Your Mark Conference, Sunday, October 14 at the Cape Codder Resort & Spa.
