Date(s) - November 24, 2018
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Noted artists Rosalie Nadeau, Joyce Zavorskas, Kely Knowles and hundreds of illustrators from all over New England are participating in the Eastham Library’s Art Scramble Fundraiser, a tremendous charity event where the public will have the opportunity to purchase beautiful pieces of art to benefit Cape Abilities.

Approximately 300 5” x 7” images are currently on display in the large Turner Gallery at the Library for the month of November, culminating in a “scramble” into the library and purchase the paintings of their choice. Each painting will be assigned a number NOT an artist name.Artists will sign only the BACK of the painting creating an interesting “mystery” for the purchaser. Buyers will not know the artists they own until after the purchase!

All proceeds benefit Cape Abilities, a Massachusetts non-profit disability services agency founded in 1968 that provides education and counseling, as well as residential, therapeutic, social and employment supports that will empower the individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful and valued roles in the community. The organization has centers in Hyannis and Eastham, with a satellite office in Falmouth.

The event begins with a reception at 4PMon Saturday, November 24, at the Chapel in the Pines on Samoset Road in Eastham and the gallery at the Eastham Public Library next door will open at 5:30PM to begin the sale.
