The Brewster Ladies’ Library will be presenting its First Friday Foreign Film in the Library’s Auditorium on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.

“Frankfurt, 1946. Davis Berman is determined to make the most of the ravaged postwar era by recruiting some friends from a displaced persons camp to sell linens at inflated prices to unsuspecting Germans. Most of the group have a single motivation—to raise enough money to leave Germany and move to the United States. But David has a secret, and a beautiful American Army Investigator is determined to uncover it.” (DVD Cover).

Presented in German with English subtitles, this film runs for 102 minutes. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
