Bass Hole (Gray's Beach)

The swirling currents in Chase Garden Creek abound with wildlife. Common Terns dive over sand lance as they boil to the surface, pushed by hungry bluefish below. The orange billed American Oystercatcher prowls along the shoreline searching for a meal among the reeds of long cordgrass that strain the ever pushing tide. This area is a feeding ground for fish, birds, mollusks and crustaceans. Learn how these animals have adapted to live in the tidalzone by paddling through their waters with knowledgeable Mass Audubon naturalists.

Join this excellent kayak expedition to explore one of Cape Cod’s most beautiful marsh systems and see incredible wildlife!
