Harwich Farmers’ Market Reopens at Brooks Academy Museum

Brooks Academy Museum will once again be the site for the popular Harwich Farmers’ Market reopening for the 2014 season on Thursday, June 12, from 3-6 p.m.  The market will continue weekly on Thursday afternoons through October 9.

Featuring locally grown seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers, the market also offers breads, baked goods, meats, cheeses, value added farm products, and artisans.

The market also features live musical performances.  Students from the Jazz Band at Pope John Paul II High School in Hyannis will perform at the opening market on June 12.

The weekly event is sponsored by the Harwich Agricultural Commission and the Harwich Historical Society with funding from the Cape & Islands Farm Bureau and the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank.

Brooks Academy Museum is located at 80 Parallel Street in Harwich Center, at the corner of Sisson Road.  Parking is available at the museum and across the street at the Harwich Junior Theater Arts Center.
