MARE Story Time
Wednesday, August 1
1:00 pm
Come join the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) for a live book reading at the Province Town Library. Children of all ages and families are invited to listen and learn about the different types of families that make up our community as we read a story together. Activist and adoptive father, Dr. Phillip McAdoo, will read his book “Ever Child Deserves…”, a story about his own son, Zaden. MARE staff and experienced adoptive families will be present to answer questions and provide information about adoption from foster care, in Massachusetts, following the reading. Light refreshments will be provided during and after the event. Have you ever thought about adopting or perhaps you’re ready to expand your family? You won’t want to miss this fun and informative event.
MARE’s Heart Gallery
The Heart Gallery is a striking exhibit of portraits of children in need of adoption, taken by volunteer photographers. The exhibit moves between various venues across the Commonwealth and will be at the Provincetown Library through the second week of August 2018.
