Explore a new way of printmaking with master printmaker, Alice Galick, in this exciting 3-class workshop! Collagraphy (sometimes spelled collography) is a printmaking process in which materials are applied to a rigid substrate (such as paperboard or wood). The word is derived from the Greek word koll or kolla, meaning glue, and graph, meaning the activity of drawing…the resulting print is termed a collagraph. Participants will create a collagraph plate and make a variety of rich colored monoprints from using your plate on soft velvety papers passed through the press. Most supplies will be provided. Paper will be available for purchase by the sheet from the instructor.

This class will be for all levels: beginner to experienced printmaker, and is limited to just 8 participants.
