DETAILS: The Rising Tide Writers (RTW) are a diverse group of prose writers and poets who meet weekly at Brooks Free Library to share their writing and, in a supportive and positive atmosphere, offer constructive critique. The group has been meeting continuously for over ten years. Many of the members have published articles or short stories, and collectively have 20 plus published books that are currently available online as e-books and/or hard-copies. Many can be found in local book stores and Cape libraries. Some members also offer their skills as copy editors, proof readers, copy writers, and artistic designers.
You can get more information about the RTW at their website www.risingtidewriters.jimdo.com, where almost every writer has his or her own page. There you’ll find, along with bios/personal information, short stories, articles, essays, excerpts from published books and from works-in-progress.

The writers who are scheduled to read on February 17th are:

Lee Doty, author of “Tidal Kin.”
Joan Hennessey, author of “Cooking for Dykes.”
Barbara Leedom, co-author of “Broccoli.”
Bill Richmond, co-author of “Broccoli.”
