Summer is a great time for a stroll with Mass Audubon’s friendly and knowledgeable naturalists!

Join expert birder Chris Walz to learn about Cape Cod’s shorebirds, raptors and songbirds. See beautiful bird species feeding on the marsh and mud flats of Barnstable Harbor. Explore the trails at Sandy Neck Barrier Beach to learn how animals survive on the shore. Investigate hidden areas where terrapin turtles lay their eggs and discover how they make their homes in the marsh! Learn how the Cape serves as an important stopover point for bird species that travel up to 9,000 miles.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing for walking and bring water.
