27 January: “Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting by in America,” by Barbara Ehrenreich – with Elaine Craghead.

24 February: “A Tale of Two Cities,” by Charles Dickens – with Anne Speyer.

24 March: Selected Victorian poetry on poverty – with Paula Krebs.

28 April: “Bread and Wine,” by Ignazio Silone – with James Crowley.

To register, call 508-362-6636 or email sturgisreference@comcast.net. Sponsored by a grant from Mass Humanities (masshumanities.org).
