August is a wonderful time to see Cape Cod’s elusive shorebirds before they begin to migrate south. Join expert Mass Audubon birders to experience the beginning of the fall migration on one of the Cape’s most beautiful and hard to reach barrier beaches, Sandy Neck.

Due to the nature of the harbor and the weather patterns, this trip is recomended for those with prior kayaking experience.

We provide an assortment of single and tandem kayaks, paddles and life jackets; all participants are required to wear life jackets. We recommend that you bring sunscreen, windbreaker, hat, water shoes, a snack and drinking water.

MA Audubon Member $50, Non-member $55

Pre-registration is required. For more information call 508-362-7475 or visit website: https://www.massaudubon.org/get-outdoors/program-catalog#results:sanctuary=28
