Does your family know your wishes for the end of life?

West Parish of Barnstable, UCC, will tackle this and other issues around end-of-life planning during a service and panel discussion at 10 am, Sunday, March 29 at the 1717 Meetinghouse, 2049 Meetinghouse Way, West Barnstable.

The Congregational service will be led by Pastor Reed Baer. It will feature presentations by medical, social service and spiritual experts on the realities of end-of-life care, decision-making, and the importance of understanding our own or our loved ones’ preferences for life-sustaining procedures.
The panel discussion following the service will provide specific information and planning tools, such as the Massachusetts Medical Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment form (MOLST), and tips for communicating our wishes to family, caregivers, clinicians and emergency personnel. There will be a time for questions.

There will be refreshments following the service. All are invited to join in this important discussion. For more information contact West Parish at 508-362-4445 or
