Take a walk on the wild side of Dennis with naturalist and wildlife tracking instructor Todd Kelley and the Dennis Conservation Land Trust on Saturday, February 23 at 10 AM. Kelley will lead a tracking walk at the Flax Pond Conservation Area on Setucket Road in South Dennis. Wildlife in New England are well-adapted for winter conditions, and many species are quite active during the winter months, and participants will learn how to identify tracks and signs of several species, including otter, fox, raccoon, opossum, coyote, and white-tailed deer. The walk is free, but space is limited, and an RSVP is required to DennisConservationTrust.org or 508.694.7812. Weather date is February 24.
